MAMEDOV Ismayil Muhammedali oglu (28.08.1932, Shakhtakhty village of present Kangarli region, 25.12.2008 in Baku). He entered the department of veterinary of Nakhchivan Agricultural Technical School (1946), after doing his military service in Odessa he studied at Military-Medical Academy in Odessa and worked at Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin, Moscow. At the same time he graduated from Moscow Veterinary Academy by correspondence. He was sent as a higher education specialist to order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Azerbaijan USSR Republic from Moscow. He was a chairman of New Azerbaijan party on Nasimi district of Azadliq avenue, chairman of the trade-union of the Veterinary Committee in Baku, chairman of the Board of Elders, editor of the newspapers of “Vatan sadasi”, “Diaspora hayati”. He was an active member of “Shakhtakhti” charity society since 1972.
